planting seed paper

transform paper into life — a guide to growing your fiore

Every sheet of Fiore seed paper carries within it the promise of new life. Made from 100% recycled materials and embedded with carefully selected wildflower seeds, our paper is designed to return to the earth and bloom.

01

prepare

Tear or cut your seed paper into small pieces, about 1-2 inches. This helps the seeds make better contact with the soil and allows water to penetrate more easily. There's no need to remove any parts — the entire paper is plantable.

02

plant

Fill a pot or container with quality potting soil, leaving about an inch from the rim. Place the paper pieces on top of the soil, spreading them evenly. Press them gently into the surface, then cover with a thin layer of soil — approximately ⅛ inch (3mm).

03

water

Water the soil thoroughly until evenly moist, but not waterlogged. The paper needs to stay consistently damp during the first few weeks to allow the seeds to germinate. A spray bottle works beautifully for gentle, even watering.

04

nurture

Place your pot in a sunny spot — most wildflowers love at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist but not soaked. Within 7-10 days, you'll begin to see tiny sprouts emerging. Continue watering regularly as they grow.

05

bloom

As your seedlings mature, they'll develop into beautiful wildflowers. Depending on the variety, expect blooms within 8-12 weeks. You can transplant them outdoors once they're established, or enjoy them in their original container.
